This has been a busy year for team IAKSA USA, as we had two World Championship events to attend. The first event, held in Moscow Russia, offered divisions for all the fighting arts: Light Contact, Semi-Contact (point), Full Contact, and Low Kick which was held in Moscow, Russia. Thats right! We went half way around the world to find out who would win the title of IAKSA World Champion in 2005.

The photo to the left is a small portion of our National team standing in front of the1980 Moscow Olympic Gymnastic Arena, but on this day it was home to the 2005 IAKSA Kickboxing World Championships. The center offered great stadium seating allowing spectators an awesome view of the competition. Let me tell you there were some great fights!

Team USA did very well bringing home a total of 19 medals (five gold, eight silver, and six bronze). A great performance for a team of 18 fighters!
